Courses Offered At Advanced Body Sculpting Institute

Observational Workshop

This course is designed for new owners of laser or ultrasound assisted equipment who possess prior lipolysis experience.

Length: One–day training course
Course Objectives: Each participant will observe 1 to 2 surgical cases, plus 2-3 hours of lectures and Q&A.

Basic Liposculpture

This is an introductory course designed for physicians who are new to laser or ultrasound assisted liposuction.


Length: Two–day training course
CME: Course is eligible for 20 Cat 1 CMEs
Course Objectives: Each participant will receive hands-on training plus one full day of didactics, an observational case, plus 2-3 hours of lectures and Q&A.

Topics Covered:

  • Understanding the basic theories, principles and the science behind laser or ultra sound assisted liposuction
  • Understanding fat anatomy, its application and relevance to achieving desired results
  • Understanding patient selection and safety
  • Learning the principles and safety of patient sedation, including tumescent anesthesia
  • Discussing post-operative management and how to avoid complications

Advanced Liposculpture

For physicians who are experienced with laser or ultra sound assisted liposuction and want to learn advanced techniques to achieve better and more consistent results with each case.

Length: Two–day training course
CME: Course is eligible for 24 Cat 1 CMEs
Course Objectives: Each participant will receive hands-on training with the emphasis on advanced areas of the body, plus one full day of advanced topic didactics.

Hi Def Liposculpting

For physicians already advanced at liposuction techniques, who wish to learn how to sculpt the body and refine their skills to the highest level of body sculpting.

Length: Two–day training course
CME: Course is eligible for 34 Cat 1 CMEs
Course Objectives: Each participant will receive one full day of didactics plus one full day of multiple, hands-on cases including at least one female and one male patient.

Topics Covered:

  • Understanding the science and clinical application of Hi Def Lipolysis
  • Reviewing the human form as art
  • Understanding fat anatomy, its application and relevance to achieving masterful results
  • Focusing on various body regions with the emphasis on abdominals, hips and flanks
  • Understanding patient selection and safety
  • Learning the principles and safety of the patient sedation including tumescent anesthesia
  • Discussing post-operative management and how to avoid complications
  • Starting a Lipolysis practice
  • Maximizing your investments and profits
  • Learning to photograph ”before” and “afters” in ways that best illustrate needs and results
  • Learning fat grafting techniques for gluteal, breasts and chest with introduction into arms and legs
  • Applying fat grafting techniques to building high definition breasts

4D VASER Hi Def Dynamic LipoSculpture

The final frontier of your liposculpture training.  Developed through the study of Dynamic Muscular Anatomy, 4D VASER Hi Def bodysculpting takes into account the relevant muscular anatomy of movement and it's contribution to the human form.  Learn how to augment proportioned muscles in terms of shape, light and shadowing, and how that affects how we percieve the beauty of the human form. 

Length: One-day Hi-Def training add-on course

Course Objectives:  Each participant will receive 1/2 day of didactics, and 1/2 day of 4D OR training prior to the 2 full OR days of Hi Definitiion Training.

Fat Transfer Techniques

This course is designed for physicians who are interested in learning the art and science of Fat Transfer procedures.

Length: Two–day training course
CME: Course is eligible for 20 Cat 1 CMEs
Course Objectives: Each participant will receive one full day of hands- on training plus one full day of didactics.

Patient Care Course

For medical staff who want to learn the SPECIALIZED RECOVERY PROGRAM: a therapeutic method used after surgery to effectively reduce swelling, edema, bruising, pain, post-operative stress and other normal conditions associated with cosmetic surgery recovery.

This method promotes discharge of lymphatic congestion and diminishes undesired fibrosis after liposuction (appearance of indentations in the skin), improves scarring and enhances the immune system, while reducing recovery time and provides a superior surgical outcome.

Other benefits: Increase mobility and flexibility, enhance blood circulation and stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation effect).
Length: Two –day training course
Course Objectives: Each participant will learn the proper administration of this therapeutic method after surgery to efficiently reduce edema, bruising, and pain to improve the recovery time in the advanced surgical techniques taught by these courses.
